After leaving the Essex Intermediate League (Essex Olympian League Step 7) the club had brief spells in the Mid Essex Football League, the Saturday football team folding in September 2008.
Essex Police entered a side into the Braintree and North Essex Sunday League for season 2007-08 and look forward to their 3rd Season in this competition for the 2009-10 season.
A veterans team also flys the flag for Essex Police FC currently competing in Division 2 East of the Essex Greene King Veterans League. The Vets greatest achievement was winning the National Police Veterans cup at Port Vale FC in 2008.
Essex Police still competes in the National PAA and South Midlands Police Cup competitions.
