After leaving the Essex Intermediate League (Essex Olympian League Step 7) the club had brief spells in the Mid Essex Football League, the Saturday football team folding in September 2008.

Essex Police entered a side into the Braintree and North Essex Sunday League for season 2007-08

The Sunday side look forward after promotion to the 2nd Division, to their 4th season in this competion 2010-11
The vets also flys the flag, this needs to read Div 1 vets league. And also greatest achievements winning national PSUK cup in 2008 and 2010.

A veterans team also flys the flag for Essex Police FC currently competing in Division 2 East of the Essex Greene King Veterans League. The Vets greatest achievement was winning the National Police Veterans cup at Port Vale FC in 2008.

Essex Police still competes in the National PAA and South Midlands Police Cup competitions.

2010. 
 Veterans lift PSUK National Trophy for the second time in the clubs history by beating the Mets. At Port Vale in April.
The Vets gain promotion to Division 1 of the Essex Greene King League.
The Sunday side capped a very good season by finishing as runners up in their Division and gaining promotion to Division 2 of the Braintree Sunday League.
